This friendly group is for you to learn, practice, & have fun on your instrument. We'll jam with classic & interesting tunes with Director Jan, Teacher Nate, & a variety of guest teachers. As with all of our group adult classes (ages 15-115), we keep it light & have a great time. No experience needed.
*Thursdays, 6:30-7:20pm
*$100/month (prorated for your first month & for holidays)
*One-time material fee: $25

*Trial class = $10 to see if it's right for you.
Required materials:
- Acoustic guitar, or electric guitar with a small, battery-powered amp
- A tuner, preferably clip-on chromatic or clip-on "guitar tuner"
- Guitar strap & capo of your choice

- Soprano, concert, or tenor ukulele (baritone is ok for more advanced players if you can transpose)

- Optional but highly recommended: a strap (double-check that it is the right one for your instrument style)

Valley Voices Community Choir
SATB, Non-Auditioned Performance Ensemble
Founded by former director Lee Bates in 2012 & now directed by Jan Jaffe, this "do good" choir has raised thousands of dollars for local nonprofits with performances in collaboration with guest artists of all kinds. You can expect between 25-45 active singers in the group at any given time.

We meet Tuesdays, 6-8pm, at the Ellensburg Presbyterian Church. Optional social hour follows most rehearsals. Open to adults & older teens, $20 suggested monthly donation. You do not need to read music to be successful, but will use the skill if you have it. Practice recordings are often provided. Join us to make a joyful noise!

Join anytime!
Ages 2-5 + their Grown-Up will sing, dance, & play instruments together, building our musical skills as well as friendships, with highly-qualified music educators. At the end of our half-hour class, we wrap it up with an optional craft.

*$85/month per family (prorated for your first month & for holidays)
*One-time material fee, includes a bag of music supplies: $25/student

A well-rounded introduction for ages 7-10. Group classes are highly motivating, full of personal growth opportunities, & musically satisfying at a lower cost. With just 4 students per session, make sure you register early each quarter!

We teach in-person at our downtown studio, as well as virtual/hybrid private lessons for your convenience. See About Us for information about our teachers & instruments offered.
For private lessons - one monthly payment includes your lesson time slot, access to all of our incredible teachers, & invitations to our all-studio events. We do not have instruments available for rent at this time, but we are happy to answer questions about how to get one.
Small groups - Do you have a group of friends or family who want to learn together? We are happy to customize a small group class for you!
Cost - Current prices are listed in our registration form. We strive to offer music-making opportunities for our entire community, so if our fees are strain on your family or you are having other difficulties getting started, let's talk. Scholarships may be available. Our friends at HopeSource also offer an extra-curricular scholarship for youth in qualified families.
