--Music Teacher --

  Job Summary:

· Teach individual & group music lessons to ages 5 to older adults, both online & in-person at our downtown studio.

· Attend regular staff meetings.

· Support the production of in-person & virtual recitals, concerts, & special events.

· Provide live musical entertainment for a variety of events & audiences as assigned.

· Occasional light office & administrative duties that support our school’s mission.

Minimum Requirements:

· Basic instrument proficiency on piano, guitar/ukulele, voice, or drum set - plus plenty of performance experience on any instrument/style.

· Excellent communication skills & patience for working with learners of all ages & skills.

· Reliability & punctuality, ability to self-manage tasks & to-do lists.

· Computer skills with basic understanding of Zoom, email, etc.

· Must be available for at least 5 hours/week between our busiest weekday hours of 3-6pm.

· Must agree to a comprehensive background check.

· Plan to commit to the position for a full school year.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience teaching youth & adults in private or group settings.

· Basic proficiency on multiple instruments, including piano, guitar, or ukulele.

· Experience with live sound equipment or recording production software.
