Cancellation Policy Reminder

Cancellations & Closures Policy for Private Lessons:
- We cannot offer refunds or credits for missed lessons for any reason. If you must cancel a lesson, please contact your teacher ASAP. Your teacher will send a video lesson with materials tailored just for you if they can’t reschedule within 7 days. No-shows will not be offered make-up lessons, videos, or refunds.
- Vacations & breaks: If you're going to be gone for two weeks, we suggest rescheduling one lesson earlier & one lesson later (or one as a video lesson) for your convenience. For breaks of 3 or more weeks, you have the option to cancel your lessons for no charge, but we cannot guarantee the same lesson slot without payment.
- Teacher cancellations: We are proud that our teachers are performing artists as well. We try to minimize conflicts in their schedules & thank you for your flexibility on occasion. Consistency is key to learning, so if your teacher is unavailable during your regular lesson time, one of our other teachers will teach in their place. If we cannot find a substitute, you may be offered a reschedule or given credit on your account.
- Online lessons: You or your teacher may switch from in-person to Zoom lessons as convenient.
- Sick? For sick days, we are happy to accommodate by meeting online instead of in-person or (for private lessons) by creating a tailored video lesson for you to work through at your convenience. Please be considerate to others & stay home if you are unwell. Any students showing signs of illness may be asked to wear a mask or be sent home.
- July & August only: We encourage your family to make memories over the summers! If you need to be gone in July or August, no problem. You can cancel your lesson in the Portal with 14 days' notice for no charge. (If you've already paid for that month, you'll get a credit on the following invoice.)
Cancellation Policy for Classes & Group Lessons
- We cannot offer refunds or discounts for any group classes or group lessons that you miss for any reason.
- If you are sick, thank you for staying home! We will do our best to send you some notes about what we worked on, or even to bring you in to the class live via Zoom when feasible.
- You will always receive a prorated refund or additional class for teacher cancellations, to be determined by studio management.
